This beats modern F1 racing any day of the week for me! These cars are timeless, and the F1 racing we know today would have been nothing without them. Great stuff!

For the C series on the crash I saw the whole scene, the N°28 was about to pass over the N°6 But the N°6 didn't saw the N°28 coming from it's left, cut the road, they contacted just enought to make the N°28 go straight into the wall, and in the moment the pilot of the N°6 tried to get back on road and hit more importantly this time the 28 who has already hit the wall, that's why the maserati is hit on the front and rear and the N°6 on front right.

I would be great if NASCAR ever came over and raced at Monaco. I wonder if any F1 drivers would cross over if that ever happened for such a race? Also would love to see some of the F1 drivers come over and race in NASCAR, dealing for example with "scraping paint" with the "Good Old Boys" of NASCAR at places like Bristol Motor Speedway (half-mile track that seats 160,000) for 500 laps of "scraping paint" or a place like Talledega or Daytona where you're trying to avoid "the big one!" Also would love to see F1 deal with say a 400 lap race at Bristol on that half-miler.

    1. Felix Foerster

      Maand geleden

@Aaron Bitta Well, the whole point of it is, that you assume that non-white people are a minority which in fact isn't true. But still black people (and other) are treated as if they'd be some minor groups of people who therefor naturally aren't as much represented...

@hellobooom A:those wings are of course multi-part, so yes it can be made by 3D printer, but why should you? Aluminium is easy and low cost to manufacture,we can still make aluminium wings the original way at low costs. 3d printing is good for making engine parts, filter, casings etc. In combination with 3d object scanners you can make metal parts as named above at relative low cost and low construction time, you can improve the original design of the object in CAD. I hoped you learned something smartass

Listening to the late, great Murray Walker was not much different from listening to the engine - high power with a tendency to catch fire.

You can find a 1970s/1980s F1 car with no special history (i.e. no GP wins or no associations with an iconic driver) for about $250,000-$300,000

@Fazmagarical They were absolutely at a race pace. Alesi set his fastest lap in 1'32"5. Considered the new chicane introduced in 1986 slowed the track about 2", it were a 1'30"5 in the 1976 layout (which was almost the same of today apart the new chicane). It was worted a 3rd line in the 1976 starting grid, with a 1974 car! Ok, perhaps the tarmac is better today, as the tyres and perhaps some curves like at the pools are a bit wider... anyway Alesi and Werner were FAST.
